Although Phillip Jack "Phil" Brooks, more popularly known by his wrestling alias of CM Punk, has already left the ring, his presence remains a huge factor in the WWE. But just the same, CM Punk has expressed his intent to totally move away from his previous wrestling persona.

CM Punk has just re-invented himself by turning into a Marvel comic book writer. Career changes can happen, but when you consider how widely different the fields of professional wrestling and comic book writing are, it is not quite surprising why this issue is making rounds on the Internet.

CM Punk was one of the most popular WWE wrestlers. That is why even if he no longer steps inside the ring, anyone associated with him will still bear his image.

That fact is now being felt keenly by CM Punk's wrestling wife, AJ Lee, who continues to hold on to her enviable position in the Divas Division.

Fans of CM Punk always let out a chant for him whenever Lee enters the ring. Such chanting does not sit well with Lee's employer who sees it as being disrespectful of Lee, or in other words, just a nuisance to her ring performance.

This is the case even when there are those who say that the chanting for the Straight Edge Shooter is only being done as an indirect tribute to CM Punk. After all, AJ Lee is his wife. In some people's eyes, that could equate them as being one and the same, although it's not necessarily true, of course.

Seen from an employer's eyes, however, the fact that CM Punk turned his back on wrestling to pursue a new career as a comic book writer could be the real issue. Whatever the case, fans of AJ Lee hope that she won't get fired anytime soon.
