Supercell has confirmed the arrival of a holiday-themed update and will be releasing sneak peeks of the new content and features in the coming days. While players will have to wait for a bit more before the release of the update, the game developer has already hinted some of the things that will be coming to the mobile massively multiplayer online (MMO) strategy video game.

Following the Halloween-themed October update, Supercell is expected release holiday content that will be appropriate for the ongoing Christmas festivities. In the teaser image that was recently released, a slightly different Town Hall is seen inside a snow globe. This could mean that changes could be made to the Town Hall in light of the holiday season.

In a Developer Q&A session posted on the Supercell forums last week, the game developer confirmed that new upgrade levels and exciting content will be coming soon. However, Supercell did not give any specific details.

Another round of balancing changes will also be coming with the December update. Unfortunately, despite the players' requests, the Grand Warden will not be coming to Town Hall level 10. According to Supercell, this is to ensure that the gameplay experience of Town Hall 10 will remain distinct from Town Hall 11. Instead, the update will ensure the preservation of Depth values. There will also be balancing when it comes to Clan Wars matchmaking, specifically changes with statistics and weights.

Meanwhile, it is rumored that the highly anticipated shipwreck content will finally be included in the forthcoming update. Longtime players hope that with the arrival of the update, they will finally be able to utilize the body of water found beside the "Clash of Clans" villages. This feature was rumored after a user named spAnser uncovered ships from the game's date files.

No official release date has been announced by Supercell but the latest update for "Clash of Clans" is expected to arrive sometime next week.
