Yet another sensational trade has emerged as the new NBA season draws near. It involves the Chicago Bulls trading Tony Snell for Michael Carter-Williams (MCW) from the Milwaukee Bucks.

The move can be a head-scratcher for some of the Bulls' fans as Chicago now has a lot of guards who can handle the ball, bringing in questions about how playing time can be distributed.

Chicago already picked up Rajon Rondo and Jerian Grant earlier this summer, and both are point guards. Adding MCW to the discussion may come out as a logjam in the position, given that Jimmy Butler and Dwyane Wade are also capable players who can run the point on offense for the Bulls.

The one dimension that MCW adds is his length and defense. He definitely still has a lot of work to do and one of his biggest problems is remaining consistent.

In his career, MCW averages 14.5 points, 5.6 rebounds and 6.1 assists per game. While that does not compare to other point guards in the league, MCW is still only 25 years old and may improve.

Meanwhile, the Bucks picked up Snell as a temporary replacement for the injured Khris Middleton. With Middleton out, the Bucks need a tall player who can shoot from the outside and that is what Snell can do.

Snell's averages might not show how good he really is, but many believe that his potential to be great is big as long as he is given the chance.

One thing is certain about this trade — both teams are putting high hopes on their new members as they are still young stars who are on the rise. It remains to be seen who actually wins in this trade but the new faces should also add a different dimension to the franchises.
