'Castle' Season 7 Spoilers: Will Castle-Beckett Wedding Really Happen?

ABC

This Wednesday, Nov. 12, fans of "Castle," the TV series featuring a writer who pretends to be a detective, share the same question in their minds: will the wedding of Rick Castle (Nathan Fillion) and Kate Beckett (Stana Katic) really happen?

It appears so, going by the assurance given by Executive Producer David Amman. Anticipation and curiosity are widespread and it looks like the TV series which airs on Mondays at 10 p.m. EST on ABC will have a sizable audience.

Amman's move of letting the bomb drop sooner, rather than later, is a very wise move to make sure that fans stay loyal to "Castle."

Building up suspense and dropping hints about an event expected to happen are among the many ways that producers, writers, and directors use to keep viewers hanging on and watching. If the anticipation results in a hoped for development, whether good or bad, viewers are happy. If not, and it's all hype, rage and disgust sometimes follow.

That's probably one of the reasons that Amman decided to share the "secret" ahead of the broadcast date of "Castle" Season 7's episode 6 titled "The Time of Our Lives."

However, there's one thing that viewers need to prepare themselves for, because if not, things could get a little confusing.

Episode 6 will have two realities featured. The first one is an alternate reality, where Castle (played by Nathan Fillion), never ever met Beckett (Stana Katic). The second reality is the true reality of Castle's life, where she ended up being his fiancee and they ended up tying the knot.

It's an interesting take on the life of the crime writer whose novels became the inspiration of sorts for the crimes committed by a serial killer, and his interaction with the detective with whom he eventually had a relationship.

One thing's for sure, there will be no disappointing the fans if they catch the Castle and Beckett wedding on Monday.
