'Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered' news: Multiplayer gameplay footage to be released at Call of Duty XP 2016
Fans are well aware that "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" will get a remastered version, and there have already been clips of gameplay for single-player mode released on "Call of Duty's" official Youtube channel. This coming Call of Duty XP 2016, fans will get to see gameplay of "Modern Warfare's" multiplayer mode.
Activision announced this last week along with a teaser. By the time November comes along, players will be able to replay all the combat missions of Capt. John "Soap" MacTavish with remastered graphics and, possibly, with enhanced gameplay.
Activision also offers the remastered version of "Modern Warfare" for free for any person who purchases the "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" Deluxe and Legacy edition. What's more is that fans who choose to pre-order the game will get special bonuses like the Terminal Bonus map and the Zombies in Spaceland Pack. The said packs all include weapon camo, animated player cards, and the Fate & Fortune card pack.
A lot of plans are being laid down for the "Call of Duty" franchise. According to Polygon, Taylor Kurosaki said that, aside from sub-series like "Modern Warfare" and "Black Ops," "Infinity Warfare" will also be getting its own franchise. So fans can expect a lot more of the futuristic war zone to come.
"We want to establish our own new subfranchise, our own new branch of the Call of Duty tree. What we are developing here could certainly support multiple games. We're trying to develop a very rich world that we're not even close to exhausting," said Kurosaki.
Aside from the game announcements, the CoD XP 2016 will also be hosting the championship round of the World League competition for the game. The event will be held at Los Angeles, California, and it will take place on Sept 2–4.
"Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" will be released on Nov. 4, 2016.
