Season 3 of "Breaking Bad" prequel hit series "Better Call Saul" will reportedly feature a pivotal moment that many fans have been waiting for—James Morgan "Jimmy" McGill's transformation to Saul Goodman.

Lead star Bob Odenkirk did not exactly say what many fans quickly interpreted as a turning point in Jimmy's character in the crime drama series. Odenkirk did not spill out the beans when pressed for details in a recent interview with The Wrap. However, he did offer vague picture of how the AMC TV show will unfold when the cast returns for the third installment of the increasingly popular crime-themed series.

"This season is gonna be about how innocence gets torn away. We learn that Saul is just who he's pretending to be to get back at the world... Season 3 is when things will really explode. Jimmy is vastly more innocent than Saul...I don't think he can tell the difference between his angels and his devils. He thinks he's doing the right thing when he's absolutely doing the wrong thing," the actor revealed in The Wrap exclusive.

Some fans believe that "Better Call Saul" season 3 will show how Jimmy gets his naiveté stripped away by a series of experiences which forced him to snap out from his innocence. The younger McGill has been repeatedly taken advantage of by his older brother Charles "Chuck" McGill, Jr. (Michael McKean).

Meanwhile, anticipation is building up after "Breaking Bad" actor Bryan Cranston, who plays Walter White, confirms his cameo appearance in the upcoming season 3. Although no other details have been confirmed, Cranston expresses excitement over his inclusion the "Breaking Bad" prequel.

"I don't know in what context it would work in because we're in different phases... I suppose they could have a serendipitous brush of each other down the street or in the market, but I don't know what good that'll do—it's just a little cookie," said Cranston in his interview with The Daily Beast.

In a nutshell, "Better Call Saul" follows the story of small-time lawyer James Morgan "Jimmy" McGill in the events leading up to "Breaking Bad"—one of America's hugely successful original series. To date, AMC is yet to announce the show's premiere date.
