'Avengers: Infinity War' spoilers, rumors: Major death scene of an Avenger teased
The upcoming "Avengers" installment is expected to be the biggest and the most action-packed chapter yet from Marvel Studios. This is because of the anticipated showdown between the Earth's Mightiest Heroes and the alien supervillain, Thanos (Josh Brolin). Thanos is slated to be the most powerful opponent yet that the Avengers has ever faced, and as the fans are expecting the Mad Titan to be a very dangerous enemy, there are rumors that one of the current Avengers members will meet his or her demise.
Actor Jeremy Renner, who plays the role of Hawkeye/Clint Barton in the previous Marvel feature films, recently spoke with Hey U Guys to talk about the latest events in his career. The focus of the interview is the promotion of his current film project, "Arrival," but the actor had some time to talk about his future stint in "Avengers: Infinity War."
The fans of Hawkeye have started to become disappointed due to the character's less exposure. In "Captain America: Civil War," the fans protested the character's less involvement in the conflict, although they were able to see Hawkeye having an intense confrontation with his fellow Avengers teammate, Black Widow/Natasha Romanov (Scarlett Johanson). This time around in "Avengers: Infinity War," the fans will see more of Hawkeye in intense action sequences. Unfortunately, the character might be in danger of being among the casualty of the bloody war for the Infinity Stones.
"I know the talks are what it's about sounded fantastic. The Russo brothers have got some really great ideas and they're following certain parts of Infinity War. And there's some really exciting stuff for a lot of the characters, especially with what they're thinking about doing with Hawkeye especially I'm pretty excited about," said Renner.
As reported by Yibada, Hawkeye was already rumored to be killed in the previous "Avengers" sequel. In "Avengers: Age of Ultron," there were speculations that Hawkeye would end up dead as the character no longer has direction in the story. Instead, the fans witnessed the death of Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor Johnson), where the latter saved Hawkeye from being killed by Ultron.
