After last week's first teaser release of the "Avengers: Age of Ultron," Marvel followed it up with an extended movie trailer featuring Earth's mightiest heroes having fun with Thor's hammer.

The trailer was shown during the last episode of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." It showed Tony Stark and Steve Rogers trying to lift Thor's hammer, the Mjolnir, during what appears to be an Avengers party. As fans know, Mjolnir can only be lifted by those it deemed worthy.

"If I lift it, will I get to rule Asgard?" Tony (aka Iron Man, played by Robert Downey Jr.) playfully tells his fellow superheroes. But despite using his suit's robotic arm and getting help from his friend James Rhodes (played by Don Cheadle), Tony fails to lift the hammer.

Steve (aka Captain America, played by Chris Evans) then takes his turn with the hammer. He appears close to moving it, something that had Thor showing a hint of worry, but also fails to lift it.

Thor (Chris Hemsworth) then casually lifts his hammer as if it was a piece of plastic.

Meanwhile, more details on the upcoming "Avengers" film are being revealed, such as filming locations and the addition of new cast members.

Director Joss Whedon revealed that they were "up in the Italian Alps ... Seoul, Korea ... Johannesburg ... Bangladesh and then all over England."

"This is a very global film. We wanted the world perspective on the Avengers," Joss said. "They're being Avengers and that's a global thing. It doesn't make everybody love them, so we wanted to see both sides."

The trailer revealed some of the new cast members appearing on the film, such as Ultron (voiced by James Spader); Quicksilver (played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson) and Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen).

Speculations about a mystery woman spotted at the first trailer released by Marvel last week has also been making waves online. Many had assumed the woman to be Natalie Portman's character, Jane Foster, who was romantically involved with Thor.

However, it was confirmed that the mystery woman was South Korean actress Claudia Kim. She was cast back in January and made her appearance at the "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" premiere. All Kim said of her character was that she was "a doctor/scientist who is friends with Tony Stark."

Theories have abound that Kim could be playing Monica Chang, a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent who was featured in the original "Age of Ultron" comics, or possibly Suzi Endo, who was a scientist at Stark Industries. Marvel and Kim have remained secretive on the issue.

"Avengers: Age of Ultron" is expected to hit the big screen on May 1, 2015.
