'Attack on Titan' chapter 88 spoilers, rumors: Grisha plans attack

"Attack on Titan" chapter 88 is expected to provide more action until its climactic end. Grisha will start to materialize his plan for a counter-attack after he experiences severe torture and punishment by the Marleys.

GamenGuide suggests that chapter 88 would shock readers and that starting on its release on Dec. 9, it would be a roller coaster ride of emotions. To make Grisha's revenge-filled master plan a reality, he has to become a Titan. Once he acquires the ability, he then blends with the people inside the walled city and try to avoid detection. It won't be easy for Grisha since he has to avoid even the slightest suspicion from the military enforcers who do not take any chances against any threat of humanity.

There are two things that many readers are looking forward to understanding in the next chapter. First is the the identity of Kruger. Although it has already been established that Kruger is the founder of Eldian's Revivalist known as the night owl, who Kruger really is and why he wants to defeat the Marley empire remains a mystery. Since he manifested a Titan power he must have an Eldian blood. Then there is the Reiss-Fritz conundrum which troubled many readers on how the Reiss Family came to power. Readers await the exposition of the history of both Kruger and the Reiss family as the chapters unfolds.

Moreover, many readers are also interested about the story of the Great East clan. Yibada recollects that in chapter 87, there was once a Marley soldier who mentioned an enemy in the East Owl who planned on getting support. Although it was not clear as to where that enemy would seek help, the report suggests that it could be where the Orientals, like Mikasa, come from.
