Looking to continue their impressive run so far in the National Football League this season, the Atlanta Falcons are also beefing up their practice squad to help maintain the team's top level of performance.

According to different reports, the Falcons have added linebacker David Tull earlier this week. In order to accommodate space for Tull, the practice squad had to let go of left-footed punter Michael Palardy.

Tull is a capable linebacker, having won the Southern Conference Defensive Player of the Year three times.

He also played for the Chattanooga Mocs where he put up impressive numbers in four years with the team.

At 6'3 and weighing 225 pounds, Tull had a tryout with the Falcons back in Sept. 20, and is looking to make his way up the ranks as he starts off at the practice team.

Now 24 years old, Tull was a fifth-round pick by the New Orleans Saints in 2015 and made the 53-man cut in his rookie year but was eventually cut after the pre-season. During that time, he recorded four tackles for the Saints in four games.

The Falcons are 4-1 at the moment to lead the NFC South. They have been impressive as they bounced back from a Week 1 loss to win four straight games, beating teams like the Oakland Raiders, Saints, Carolina Panthers and the Denver Broncos.

They will have a busy schedule in the coming weeks as they travel to Seattle to face the Seahawks at the CenturyLink Field. After that, they have back-to-back home games against the San Diego Chargers and Green Bay Packers.

They are going through a lot of injury woes at the moment, with wide receiver Julio Jones being the biggest worry. He is still limited during practice as he tries to get back to 100 percent.

Despite this, the Falcons have managed well and things are certainly looking up for them.
