'Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Auditore Collection' release date, news and updates: Video compares graphics of original game and remaster
Michael Fassbender's "Assassin's Creed" ("AC") movie comes out this December, but fans can enjoy the world in a new way this month as Ubisoft is planning to release "Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Auditore Collection." A video has been posted comparing the difference in graphics between the original and the remaster, which fans have received warmly.
The clip runs for a minute long and it showcases the great difference in detail of the original games and the current collection. The latter include three titles, namely "Assassin's Creed II," "Assassin's Creed Brotherhood," and "Assassin's Creed Revalations" — all titles connected to the franchise's most popular assassin, Ezio.
Some sources have pointed out that the remastered version of the game looks to be more colorful than the original, even making the latter's graphics look a bit "muddy." The draw distance of the game has also been improved upon, making players see further in the city while they are climbing up tall buildings.
As for the content of the game, "The Ezio Trilogy" is known to add a lot of things to the original "Assassin's Creed" game, but some players thought these have a tendency to feel repetitive over time.
"AC II" came out back in 2009, but the game is considered to be a pop-culture classic that fans would appreciate the high graphical polish that has been given to the game.
This year saw a lot of remastered releases, what with "Batman: Return to Arkham," and "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" special edition. Both releases fell flat when they came out, but reaction seems to be looking positive for the release of the "Ezio Collection."
Fans will be brought back to the life of classic assassin Ezio when they buy "Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Auditore Collection" when it comes out on Tuesday, Nov. 15.
