Assassin's Creed Rogue is now available on pre-order on the official Ubisoft website. The company has partnered with online merchants Amazon, U Play, Best Buy, Walmart, Gamestop and Target, where the game is available for $59.96.

Those who pre-order the game will get two bonuses -- "The Ultimate Hunter Pack," which includes an exclusive collection of Templar collections and items, and "The Siege of Fort de Sable Mission," which includes a bonus fort raiding mission.

The game synopsis states: "Amid the chaos and violence of the French and Indian War, Shay Patrick Cormac, a fearless young member of the Assassin Brotherhood, undergoes a dark transformation that will forever shape the future of the colonies. As Shay, you will experience the slow transformation from Assassin to Assassin hunter and use all your skills to take down those you once called brothers."

The game allows you to experience the Assassin's Creed universe from a Templar's perspective. You get to play as "Shay," who possesses skills and abilities, including his "enhanced eagle vision." You also get to use powerful weapons such as the grenade launcher and the air rifle.

The game also includes diverse environments, such as the American River Valley, the New York City and the arctic North Atlantic.
