'Ash vs Evil Dead' season 2 episode 3 spoilers: Ash loses his car, throws an epic party
The Delta is to Ash Williams (Bruce Campbell) as the Necronomicon is to Ruby Knowby (Lucy Lawless). When two witless teenagers drive off with the Delta while the Necronomicon is safely locked inside it, Ash and Ruby are forced once again to work together to retrieve the very essences of their lives.
Near the end of what could perhaps be considered the goriest and messiest episode of "Ash vs Evil Dead" yet, the title character Ash had a not so friendly brush-up with a couple of teenagers who later decided to ruffle Ashy Slashy's nerves by driving away in his car.
In episode 3 titled, "Last Call," Ash and his crew are forced to take a break from their sworn duty to save the world from deadite invasion to save Ash's car first, which has apparently been with him "through thick and thin."
"It was his everything," Pablo Bolivar (Ray Santiago) says in the episode promo.
Pablo looks determined to help his El Jefe retrieve his car, Ruby just wants to get her book back, and Kelly Maxwell (Dana DeLorenzo) isn't going anywhere on her own anytime soon.
So, Ash cooks up a plan that may just prove to be counterproductive to their goal. He plans to throw one of their "epic parties" to lure out the teenagers who took his car.
Fans who have been onboard to watch the season 2 premiere know what happened during the crew's last epic soiree. As it goes, the more people there are gathered in one room, the higher the possibility of a deadite attack is.
Also, after Ruby mentioned his name in the previous episode, it probably won't be long before this season's big bad, Baal (Joel Tobeck), finally shows up in Elk Grove.
Meanwhile, what of Ash's father, Brock Williams (Lee Majors)? He never did believe his sons claims about the deadites, but could the decapitated specimen in Ash's room finally change his mind?
"Ash vs Evil Dead" season 2 episode 3 airs on Sunday, Oct. 16, at 8 p.m. EDT on STARZ.
