Arrow Season 3 Premiere Date, Spoilers: A Deadly New Villain to Appear?

With the premiere episode of Arrow Season 3 to be shown on October 8, spoilers have already been circulating.

The synopsis for Season 3 reads, "In the aftermath of this victory, Season 3 opens with Arrow now a hero to the citizens of Starling. Crime is down, people feel safer, and Captain Lance even calls off the Anti-Vigilante Task Force. Basking in his success, Oliver believes he can finally have a private life and asks Felicity out on a date. But the second Oliver takes his eye off the ball, a deadly villain reappears in Starling, forcing Oliver to realize that he can never be Oliver Queen — not as long as the city needs The Arrow."

Basing on the DC comics hit, it is easy to predict that the deadly villain being described in the synopsis is Peter Stormare version of Count Vertigo. However, the villain "reappearing" comes as a surprise. Perhaps the creators had a different idea of who the villain should be, but who he is, we have yet to find out.

Another rumored spoiler is that Sara Lance and Deathstroke are to return. Meanwhile, Thea is rumored to "change for the worse".

The main characters in Season 3 include Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen, Colin Donnell as Tommy, Katie Cassidy as Laurel Lance, David Ramsey as John Diggle, Willa Holland as Thea Queen, with Susanna Thompson as Moira Queen and Paul Blackthorne as Detective Quentin Lance.
