A comparison between the Alcatel OneTouch Watch and the LG Watch Urbane reveals that the two smartwatches are quite similar even though the device from LG is prettier.

Design

When it comes to design, the LG Watch Urbane is miles ahead with its stylish round watchface and body crafted from stainless steel that comes with either a gold or silver polish. As for its strap, the default version is in leather, but it can be swapped with any standard 22mm band. In comparison, the OneTouch Watch has a round stainless steel body that can be purchased with four interchangeable straps. The resin-based straps are in two colors, white and black/red. The two steel straps come in either white or grey metal. The OneTouch Watch has a USB charger integrated into its resin-based straps. As for the smartwatches' dust and water resistance, both have the IP67 rating, which means they can be safely placed in up to one meter of water for 30 minutes.

Display

On the OneTouch Watch is a 1.22-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 240 x 204 pixels. As for the Watch Urbane, it has a bigger 1.3-inch P-OLED screen with a resolution of 320 x 320 and a density of 245 pixels per inch.

Specs

There is no official word about the processor and storage of the OneTouch Watch. However, it will be able to hold up to 14 apps at once. As for the Watch Urbane, it has a 4GB onboard storage and 512MB RAM, along with a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset. In terms of compatibility, however, the Watch Urbane lags behind its competitor as it can only be paired with Android devices. The OneTouch Watch can be paired with both iOS and Android devices.

Sensors

When comparing the sensors on the devices, they are pretty similar with the Watch Urbane having a nine-axis gyroscope, accelerometer and compass along with a barometer and heart rate sensor. The OneTouch Watch has an accelerometer, gyroscope, altimeter, heart rate sensor and e-compass.

Price

The OneTouch Watch is priced at $150 while the LG Watch Urbane could cost around $350 when it is released.
