'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' season 4 episode 13 spoilers: Coulson, Mack team up to search for May; Daisy, Mace get ambushed

After the shocking revelations and eventual defeat suffered by the team in the previous episode, Coulson (Clark Gregg) and his team are rushing back out to the usual grind of protecting mankind in the next episode of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."

Inhumans have been persecuted for just being what they are, but when one puts people's lives at risk, whether intentionally or not, it also threatens the public's trust in S.H.I.E.L.D.'s capability to protect them. In the episode simply titled "BOOM," Daisy (Chloe Bennet) and Mace (Jason O'Mara) will be leading the S.H.I.E.L.D. team in an effort to contain an explosive Inhuman. There will surely be a lot more riding on their success than ensuring the safety of everyone else, and failure could only lead to dire consequences.

Meanwhile, Coulson (Clark Gregg) and Mack (Henry Simmons) are on a mission of their own as they try to find out where Radcliffe (John Hannah) could be hiding the real May (Ming-Na Wen). The trailer for the next episode reveals that it's not going to be an easy task since Radcliffe seems to be well-guarded by his own personal bodyguards.

But all of these pale in comparison to an upcoming ambush which could put Daisy and Mace's team in danger. Will they all survive this impending attack without losing one of their own? Episode 14 hints that this may not be the case when Coulson and his team are lured into a trap in their efforts to save Mace.

What will happen to the director of S.H.I.E.L.D.? Will his team be able to save him before the enemy discovers that he is not really an Inhuman? What will Coulson and Mack accomplish in their quest to find May? Now that Radcliffe has the Darkhold, what other challenges and threats await Coulson and the rest of S.H.I.E.L.D.?

'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' season 4 episode 13 airs on Tuesday, Feb. 7, at 10 p.m. EST on ABC, while episode 14 is scheduled to air the following week on Feb. 14.
