The latest update for "Fallout 4" is now available on Steam, including the enormous 58 GB texture pack that adds more detail to the different textures all throughout the game.

Bethesda released Update 1.9's high-resolution texture pack on Monday, and it can be accessed by players for free. While the game still looks the same, fans can immediately notice that the display is not as fuzzy. For PC users, recommended specs to get the most out of the pack include Intel Core i7-5820K or better, GTX 1080 8GB, and 8GB+ RAM. Full patch notes can be viewed here.

"Experience the wasteland like you've never seen it before with the Fallout 4 High-Resolution Texture Pack! From the blasted buildings of Lexington to the shores of Boston Harbor and beyond, every location is enhanced with ultra-deluxe detail," reads the texture pack's official description. Players who want to revert the original textures can do it through the game's menu.

In other related news, "Fallout 4" has recently surpassed "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" as the most successful Bethesda game ever. Bethesda marketing executive Pete Hines announced the game's new milestone during an interview with Kinda Funny Gamecast.

"Fallout 4 has gotta be the most successful game we've ever launched in our company's history," Hines said. "More than Skyrim, in terms of what we did," he went on to say. Since it wasn't immediately clear what he meant by "most successful," Hines went on to explain via Twitter that he was comparing the two games over the same period of time. He mentioned that "Fallout" has, in fact, sold more copies worldwide than "Skyrim."

Released in November 2011, "Skyrim" sold more than 20 million copies as of 2014. The game got a boost in sales in 2016 when the Special Edition remaster debuted. "Fallout 4," on the other hand, shipped 12 million copies when it was launched in November 2015. Bethesda has not revealed a sales figure for the title since its debut.
