Much of the recent media focus on the Miami Heat revolved around its preseason game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The game was important to many, as it was the first game between the teams after LeBron James left Heat to return to the Cavaliers.

The game which took place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil saw the Cavaliers prevailing over the Heat. As for the game itself, LeBron James's performance fizzled as he was not able to make much impact, though his assists consisted of passes to Kevin Love who scored 25 points.

The perception has lingered that there are simmering tensions between the Cavaliers and Heat.

As for the chat that tensions would boil over between James, Dwyane Wade, and Bosh, Cleveland.com notes that it didn't take place but the customary pregame hugs and slaps were exchanged between the Big Three.
