Jeremy Lin, the Brooklyn Nets' point guard, has suffered two hamstring injuries that have taken him off the lineup, and currently, it is unknown when the basketball star will return.

Jeremy Lin signed on with Brooklyn Nets last July 2016 with a $36 million contract to be paired with center Brook Lopez as the team's main offense. He then became the Nets' point guard and made his debut last October against the Boston Celtics.

Fox Sports reported that Lin was doing well with the play of the Brooklyn Nets' head coach, Kenny Atkinson. Unfortunately, in November, Lin had a hamstring injury during a game against the Detroit Pistons. Lin was benched for six weeks, but he continued to show support by being present in all of his team's games.

Come Dec. 12 when the Brooklyn Nets went against the Houston Rockets, Lin finally joined the game and improved the team's offense play. But two weeks later, Lin's injury relapsed during the game against his former team, the Charlotte Hornets.

"It's been difficult. The night that I got hurt I didn't feel like talking or was just not in a place where I had anything to say to really anybody," Lin said, Inquistr reports.

The Brooklyn Nets has garnered an 8–25 standing this 41st season of the National Basketball Association, falling behind eight games from the Chicago Bulls.

Lin, although disappointed at his current condition, still sees a different kind of opportunity from his injury. "I think the whole process has been not what I anticipated in terms of getting the opportunity to be on this team. But I think that's life. I think it's more how you respond from it," Lin shared.

Lin shared that "everything's progressing better" because his second hamstring injury hit a different area, even though it happened on the same leg. He is looking forward to returning to the court.

There is still no update when Lin will return to the Nets' lineup.
