Since UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor was given a professional boxing license in California, fans have stirred up talks about a potential fight between McGregor and boxing pound-for-pound great, Floyd Mayweather Jr. But another well-known boxer also wants to get his hands on the mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter.

Former two-weight world champion Ricardo Mayorga knows a thing or two about mixed martial arts. In fact, he had ventured into the sport for a while before he went back to boxing, so he knows how dangerous McGregor is as an MMA fighter. However, Mayorga believes that Notorious is no match for him inside a boxing ring.

"I admit that he's has been very good at mixed martial arts, but in boxing he is making mistakes," Mayorga stated (via the Daily Express). "As soon as I grab him, I'm going to break him down, I'm going to disintegrate him. In boxing, when we step in the ring — he's going to know that I'm a man and he's a woman. McGregor is wide open when he fights. I'm going to lower his jaw to his navel, so he learns to fear me and shows respect," he added.

Well, McGregor has probably met his match when it comes to trash talking. Mayorga is definitely a controversial boxer. Some even call him the craziest man in the sport of boxing. He is one scrappy fighter and his lifestyle outside the ring is as controversial as his reckless fighting style. Ever heard of a chain-smoking professional boxer before? Well, there's Mayorga. He's also renowned for his drinking habits.

Mayorga may have said these things to rile up McGregor so he will face him, but the UFC fighter knows that the big money fight in boxing is with Mayweather. So, if he ever decides to step in the ring, his main target will most likely be Mayweather.
