With just two weeks before "Younger" officially returns, a new cast member recently joined TV Land's romantic comedy-drama for its upcoming third season.

"Smash" star Krysta Rodriguez is set to appear in an episode of the show's upcoming third season for a guest starring role as Kim. Rodriguez will be portraying Bryce Reiger's (Noah Robbins) no-nonsense publicist who assists him in making business decisions. As previously reported, season 3 will introduce a character named Bryce Reiger, a young Silicon Valley millionaire who is planning to invest in Empirical.

Rodriguez's TV acting credits include "Inside Amy Schumer," "Gossip Girl," "Chasing Life" and "The Mysteries of Laura." She will later appear as a series regular on the upcoming midseason NBC comedy "Trial & Error."

In a recent promo image, Kim and Bryce sit side by side, appearing to be in a meeting about Empirical. Meanwhile, a trailer for the new season has already been released which hints many interesting twists viewers should look forward to.

Season 2 left off with Liza (Sutton Foster) struggling to choose between her two dashing suitors: her ex-boyfriend Josh (Nico Tortorella) and her boss/new love interest Charles (Peter Hermann). The third season will see how the love triangle will complicate Liza's life and career, as she tries to decide which one of her two suitors she would like to pursue a serious relationship with. Additionally, Liza will continue to be stricken with guilt after her friend Kelsey (Hilary Duff) blaming her for her boyfriend Thad's (Dan Amboyer) death.

There is also a possibility of Liza's secret being revealed next season. As fans know, Liza is a 40-year-old who posed as 26 to get a jo at Empirical. Josh knows the truth about her age, but Charles is still unaware.

Tune in for all-new episodes of "Younger" season 3 which premieres on Wednesday, Sept. 28 at 10 p.m. EST on TV land.
