As Xiaomi Mi Note 2 and the shocker Xiaomi Mi Mix have been sold out yet again in their recent flash sale in China, one might wonder how the two iterations have catapulted the Chinese manufacturer into its familiar limelight again.

Of course, it is not that difficult to understand how its users have swarmed in on the sequel to its favorited Xiaomi Mi Note lineup — the series has always been a potent power in the entire Xiaomi portfolio. Along with its flagship roster, Xiaomi Mi and Redmi, Xiaomi Mi Note's features and affordability have reliably been a crowd pleaser.

And so, the more stunning release of Xiaomi Mi Mix has come to mind. Righteously dubbed the "concept" smartphone, the device is clearly on all fours to wow the already stunned crowd with its features and specifications.

Xiaomi Mi Mix is encased in a spectacular 6.4-inch display that is positively bezel-less in all three of its sides. It showcases an IPS LCD display with a 2,040 x 1,080 pixels and 362ppi. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821, which is also clocked at 2.35GHz, quad-core central processing unit (CPU) and Adreno 530 graphics processing unit (GPU). In addition, the device is equipped with random-access memory (RAM) variants of 4GB and 6GB along with native storage tiers of 128GB and 256GB.

Xiaomi Mi Mix sports a 16-megapixel (MP) rear camera with phase detection auto-focus (PDAF) and a front-facing snapper that is armed with 5MP sensor. The smartphone also has a fingerprint sensor, NFC, GPS with SAP, GLONASS and BDS; connectivity features such as Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11ac and 4G + LTE are also provisioned.

Perhaps one of Xiaomi Mi Mix's more relevant features is its accompaniment of a massive 4,400-milliampere-hour (mAh) battery. Accordingly, the device can still provide 41% of battery despite a particularly heavy usage. Likewise, the battery is supported with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.

Xiaomi Mi Mix runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, on top of Xiaomi's proprietary MIUI 8.0.
