Xbox Games With Gold October 2016 free games list update: 'Super Mega Baseball: Extra Innings' and 'The Escapist' will be playable in Xbox One and Xbox 360 for free

It's time for Xbox Live Gold members to focus on the next lineup of free game titles in the Xbox Games With Gold for October. Xbox has finally released the list of free games hitting the Xbox home consoles this month, and some of them will be the older Xbox 360 video games that are also playable in the new Xbox One due to backwards compatibility.
The Xbox Games With Gold free games for the month of October will be featuring two free game titles each for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 console. The Xbox Live Gold subscribers can have these featured video games without any charge starting Oct. 1. According to Express UK, the two free games for the Xbox 360 are the classic games, "MX vs. ATV Reflex" and "I Am Alive." For the Xbox One free game titles, there are the sports-based and action thriller video games, "Super Mega Baseball: Extra Innings" and "The Escapist," respectively.
Xbox Live Gold members should take note that the "Super Mega Baseball: Extra Innings" will be available for the whole month of October as a free game on Xbox One. For the backwards compatible video game "MX vs. ATV Reflex," it will be available as a free game starting on Oct. 1 but will only last for the first two weeks of the months. The players don't have to fret as it will be replaced right away by another exciting game title, "I Am Alive," which will be available from Oct. 16 until the last day of the month. Likewise, "The Escapist" will be available starting on Oct. 16 in Xbox One, but it will further extend until the second week of November, Daily Star UK reported.
Xbox users who are interested in this program should apply for the Xbox Games With Gold subscription, where the member has to pay at least $60 to enjoy the free games monthly.
