Xbox Games With Gold May 2016 free games list: Game titles for May announced

The month of April has just ended and players are pretty excited to know the games that are included in Xbox Games with Gold for May 2016. The list has already been released by Microsoft and the games are already available.

As expected, the company has done it again; they made a powerhouse list just like what they did in the previous month.

The Xbox Games with Gold lineup for the month of May includes two titles for the Xbox One and another two for Xbox 360. Ever since Microsoft started the backward compatibility program, which has been highly anticipated every month, fans with Xbox gold subscription will get to enjoy four earlier game titles each month.

Microsoft announced that Xbox Games with Gold for May 2016 includes the "Defense Grid." Xbox Games with Gold members will be able to enjoy the popular tower defense game, which will be available for the whole month starting May 1. The title is currently available with a price tag of $14.99 on the Xbox Marketplace; however, Xbox Gold subscribers will be able to enjoy the game for free until the month of May ends.

The role-playing video game developed by Double Fine Productions and was published by Midnight City, "Costume Quest", is the next title added to the Xbox One free games for the whole month of May. However, unlike "Defense Grid," which will be available on the first day of May, "Costume Quest" will not be downloadable for free until May 16.

Xbox 360 free Games for Gold subscribers include the racing video game developed and published by Codemasters, "Grid 2" and "Peggle," which is a casual puzzle video game developed by Sukhbir Sidhu and Brian Rothstein of PopCap Games.

Unfortunately, these free game titles may not be available in other regions. However, for Xbox Games with Gold members in those regions may receive separate free game titles.
