Xbox Games with Gold for June 2016 free games news: To include 'XCOM: Enemy Unknown' and 'The Crew'

The list of the selected Xbox video games available to download for free has already been released and includes some very interesting games from the recent past. The free Xbox Games with Gold will run for a limited time within the month of June.

The free Xbox games which will be available within the next month are "XCOM: Enemy Unknown," "The Crew," "Goat Simulator" and "Super Meat Boy." Those who have their Gold subscription with Xbox can have any of these games without any charge, as long as the players will download the games based on their available dates.

The video games such as "Super Meat Boy" and "XCOM: Enemy Unknown" are popular Xbox 360 games that have attracted a lot of players in the past. Next month, Xbox One users can now own these games for free as long as their Xbox Gold subscription is still up. "Super Meat Boy" will become available for free download for Xbox Live Gold members starting from June 1 to 15. After "Super Meat Boy," the next Xbox 360 game to be given away is "XCOM: Enemy Unknown," which will be available starting from June 16 to 30.

Game Rant reported that the Xbox 360 games made available for free download are backwards compatible and they can also be seen in the Xbox One store. Those who already own the newer Xbox One console can still enjoy "Super Meat Boy" and "XCOM: Enemy Unknown" for free as long as they have an active Gold subscription.

Meanwhile, for the video games playable solely in Xbox One consoles, the game titles up for grabs within the month of June are the "Goat Simulator" and "The Crew." "Goat Simulator" will be available for free download starting on June 1, and it will remain available for the rest of the month. "The Crew" will be available starting on June 16. The good news is that the free download period for the game will extend past the end of June and will only end on July 15.
