'X-Men: Apocalypse' news, rumors: Wolverine to have cameo role as 'Weapon X' program appears in the movie

It is reported that Wolverine and the "Weapon X" program that created his adamantium skeletal structure will be shown in the much-anticipated action superhero movie "X-Men: Apocalypse."
In Empire's latest magazine issue, "X-Men" film series director Bryan Singer stated that the Weapon X program will be tackled in "X-Men: Apocalypse" and revealed the implications it will bring to the huge Marvel movie flick.
It can be remembered from the previous "X-Men" movies, especially in "X-Men 2: United" and "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" that the Weapon X program is responsible in infusing the indestructible metallic element called the Adamantium to the skeletal structure of Logan/Wolverine (played by Hugh Jackman). Due to Wolverine's ability super enhanced healing at cellular level, the Adamantium was successfully bound to his body.
According to Singer's interview with Empire magazine via Comic Book Movie, Major William Stryker (played by Josh Helman) will appear in the upcoming "X-Men" movie who is the one that will head the Weapon X program. It was revealed that one scene in the film will show Stryker interrogating Raven Darkholme/Mystique (played by Jennifer Lawrence), Hank McCoy/Beast (played by Nicholas Hoult), Moira MacTaggert (played by Rose Byrne) and Peter Maximoff/Quicksilver (played by Evan Peters) to find the hideout of Erik Lehnsherr/Magneto (played by Michael Fassbender).
The particular is said to take place after the movie's main villain Apocalypse (played by Oscar Isaac) and his horsemen composed of Magneto, Archangel (played by Ben Hardy), Psylocke (played by Olivia Munn) and Storm (played by Alexandra Shipp) went to the X-Men mansion for an intense confrontation.
It was also revealed that Stryker will be starting to develop the Weapon X program in "X-Men: Apocalypse," although this will not be highlighted as the movie will focus more on Apocalypse and his plans for world domination.
As for Wolverine appearing in "X-Men: Apocalypse," there are rumors that Jackman was present in movie's reshoots which raised the possibility that Logan will be seen in the film, at least for a cameo role like he did in "X-Men: First Class."
