WWE rumors 2016: WWE may bid to purchase TNA Wrestling

In professional wrestling, there is always intense action inside the ring. However, there are some things outside the circle that also require attention.
The New York Post has written an article suggesting that TNA Wrestling may be up for sale. Aside from rockstar Billy Corgan, who intends to invest in the company, this is also big news for everyone involved in the business. Even more surprising is that the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) is seemingly interested in making a bid for the company as well.
For those who follow the industry, the WWE is the biggest professional wrestling industry there is today. And if it is interested in buying TNA Wrestling, it will definitely add growth to the famous brand.
Some notable names that have flourished under the WWE banner who started out with TNA Wrestling are current WWE Champion AJ Styles; Samoa Joe, who was a former NXT Champion; and TJ Perkins, who is the Cruiserweight Champion.
Some sources believe that the WWE does not even need to bid in order to acquire TNA Wrestling.
WWE is the biggest company in the industry and normally, the smaller brands fall if these are acquired by the bigger brother. Fans who follow TNA also follow WWE and vice versa, so the link between the two will always be there.
This would fulfill the dream of all wrestling fans to have one superstar from another company battle the biggest man of the rival group.
All these rumors have yet to be confirmed and all these are just talks circulating around the people who have some influences in the industry. However, with so much noise going around it at the moment, it remains to be seen how these things will turn out in the coming months.
