WWE News 2014: Sting Helps Team Cena Win But Might Not Appear Again Until Wrestlemania

Sting finally made it onto the WWE network owned by Vince McMahon, and he did it with aplomb, arriving unannounced and helping Team Cena triumph over The Authority.
Since then a number of websites have noted that Sting was only due to appear in the PPV Survivor series. He is scheduled next during Wrestlemania 31 where he could face The Undertaker.
Things were not looking good for Team Cena at the start of the Survivor series. During the promo Stephanie McMahon predicted that The Authority would win against Team Cena. At that point even the crowd seemed to think that was going to happen, giving Cena a lukewarm welcome.
Vince then went on to tell Cena that he would be responsible for his team members losing their contracts if the team lost. However, if The Authority lost, Stephanie could keep her job in the office but would not be involved in any decisions about the wrestlers or their careers.
Rolling Stone notes that there was very little to report from the other fights in the Survivor Series pay per view show. These saw The Usos taking on Damien Sandow and The Miz vs. Los Matadores and Goldust and Stardust. The battle for the tag team title saw Damien Sandow and The Miz crowned champions. Then Emma, Natalya, Naomi and Alicia Fox emerged as winners in the next round after which Bray Wyatt triumphed over Dean Ambrose.
The final elimination match saw Triple H. Kane, and the rest of The Authority taking on Cena, Big Show, Ryback, Erick Rowan and Dolph Ziggler. Things appeared to be going badly for Team Cena and they were looking at certain elimination but that changed when Sting suddenly made his appearance. He quickly went on to demolish the opposition and finally threw Dolph Ziggler on Seth Rollins which allowed Team Cena to coast to victory.
