WWE latest rumors: WWE former executive Linda McMahon to be one of Donald Trump's cabinet members

The result of the election has benefitted the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) franchise with an increase of 5 percent in stocks last week apparently due to Donald Trump's being associated with the company. A newly emerged rumor claims that the president is considering a Linda McMahon for a Cabinet position.
Recent rumors claim that former WWE executive Linda McMahon will be one of President Trump's allies in the Cabinet, as reported by a British tabloid. The news seems to be illegitimate at first, but a credible source revealed that the rumor may be actually true.
According to NBC Connecticut, Trump is reportedly considering McMahon as the Secretary of Commerce even though the latter has no thorough experience in politics. The only notable move by McMahon was when she ran for the U.S. Senate back in 2010.
The announcement came following the news that Linda McMahon was one of Trump's biggest supporters and donors during the presidential campaign. In an article by Washington Post, she and her husband pledged $6 million to add funds to the super political action committee (PAC), which had raised $18 million in total. This makes the couple one of the most generous benefactors of Trump as it is obvious that they gave about one-third of the total money raised. This should also explain why Trump has considered Linda McMahon to be a member of his Cabinet.
Meanwhile, McMahon also stated her tight relationship with Donald Trump. She said, "Once you're his friend, he is loyal to the end. He's an incredibly loyal, loyal friend."
Trump has contributed greatly to the WWE franchise, particularly in promoting the program. WWE fans could remember that Trump had a hosting gig at "WrestleMania V" and "WrestleMania IV" during the 1980s, in Trump Plaza.
The events made WWE more famous as it featured a world title event and a face off of WWE iconic legends Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage. Trump is also known to be the Hall of Famer in 2013, inducted by McMahon herself.
