'WWE 2k17' news update: 'Total Divas' roster for upcoming game unchanged; to include newly retired superstar?

There has been no official announcement from 2K Sports regarding the anticipated WWE-themed video game "WWE 2k17," although there are already reports about the possible character roster that will be featured in the game. One of the rumored inclusions to the latest game is a wrestling superstar who has recently retired from the wrestling industry.

WWE 2K17 News website reported that Brie Bella, a former wrestling superstar from the WWE Entertainment, announced her plans of retirement in Wrestlemania 32 on April 3. However, 2K Sports seemed to be not updated with the latest development in WWE, that is why Bella is still included in the list of wrestling superstars who will be appearing in "WWE 2k17."

The report also cited that Bella was supposed to stop making appearances in wrestling video games starting with "WWE 2k17," but she had been reportedly scanned by 2K developers. If the rumors were true, the wrestling fans and gamers will still see Bella inside the ring and in action even though her professional wrestling career has officially ended.

Another proof that Bella will still be in the newest game roster is the statement of WWE 2K developer Sandeep Giri about WWE not having changed yet the season of Total Divas in "WWE 2k17." If the lineup of Total Divas will remain the same, Bella is likely to be included on the roster. Giri also revealed that even after retirement, Bella would still pursue her appearance in the game, that is why 2K Sports decided not to update the game roster with "WWE 2k17." The Total Divas are also expected to organize an event that would present Bella as a part of the group for the last time, including the final photo ops and question and answer panel.

According to Ecumenical News, other WWE superstars that wrestling fans and gamers would like to see in "WWE 2k17" are Bray Wyatt, Alundra Blayze, Sasha Banks, Charlotte, Becky Lynch, and Bayley. The report mentioned that these wrestlers are also likely to be included in the latest roster together with Bella.
