'World of Warcraft: Legion' release date, news: Sixth expansion will be launched on Aug. 30

The sixth expansion for the massive multiplayer online role-playing game "World of Warcraft" which is entitled "Legion" will launch on Tuesday, Aug. 30.
"Legion" will launch at 12 a.m. For North America and South America, the servers will be hosted on Pacific time. Hence, players will be able to catch the game at 3 a.m. Eastern time, 2 a.m. Central Time, and 1 a.m. Mountain Time.
Meanwhile, the game will go live in Australia and New Zealand at 5 p.m. For European servers, the game will launch at 12 a.m. Central European Time (CET).
VG 24/7 revealed that "Legion" will introduce the new Demon Hunter hero class to "World of Warcraft." The class will start at level 98. Moreover, the existing classes will also have a major overhaul. For instance, the hunter class, which consists of long-ranged fighters that rely mostly on pets, will be able to wield melee weapons while they fight with pets. They will also be able to utilize multiple pets simultaneously. The Hunter class will also have the option to let go of pets to pursue stronger skills.
The expansion will also feature new artifact weapons that are appropriate for each class. In particular, there will be 36 weapons available for each class. Players will be able to upgrade the weapons and customize them to fit their character's look.
Players will be introduced to a new area in Azeroth, the Broken Isles, which are a set of islands in the Great Sea. The islands have six zones: Azsuna, The Broken Shore, Highmountain, Stormheim, Suramar and Val'sharah.
Gamers who pre-ordered the expansion will have access to the new demon hunter class and will be entitled to a level 100 character boost.
The next "Legion" update is slated for release next month. The Emerald Nightmare Raid dungeon for "Legion" will be launched on Tuesday, Sept. 20, while the mythic difficulty for the said dungeon will go live a week later on Sept. 27. Raid Finder Wing 2 of Emerald Nightmare will launch on Oct. 11, to be followed by Raid Finder Wing 3 on Oct. 25.
