Wonder Woman's Invisible Jet won't be in the much-anticipated 2017 stand-alone "Wonder Woman," but fans should find some consolation in the famous aircraft's appearance at next month's Comic-Con International.

With "Wonder Woman" currently in production, fans have been left to wonder which of the iconic elements from the DC Comics will make it into the film. The superheroine's Lasso of Truth already made an appearance in this year's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice." Now, fans are waiting to see if her red thigh-high boots or star-spangled outfit will be in the upcoming stand-alone.

But while there has been no official word on the costumes Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) will wear in her first solo live-action film, DC Entertainment President Diane Nelson recently told People that fans shouldn't expect to see the Invisible Jet in "Wonder Woman."

"There is no Invisible Jet," she said. "Not in this iteration."

Nelson also hinted at the film's tone, saying: "It will have its own tone and look — it's beautiful. There is humor in it, there is real emotion in Diana's journey in discovering the complexity of man."

Wonder Woman's Invisible Jet first appeared in the comics in 1942 before making its way into mainstream consciousness in the "Wonder Woman" television series starring Lynda Carter.

But though the famous jet won't be in "Wonder Woman," those attending this year's Comic-Con International in San Diego will be able to see the iconic aircraft up close.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Wonder Woman's trusty jet will be at the convention as part of DC Comics' exhibit on the 75th anniversary of the superheroine. The vehicle will reportedly light up at night and will be accompanied by a series of graffiti artwork and various displays depicting the Amazonian's costumes over the years.

"Wonder Woman," which also stars Chris Pine, Robin Wright, David Thewlis, Connie Nielsen, and Danny Huston, will be in theaters June 2, 2017.
