'White Collar' Spoilers and Plot Recap: Neal Proves There Is Life After 'Death'

Neal Caffrey (Matt Bomer) and Peter Burke (Tim DeKay) were central figures in the recently shown finale of "White Collar."
The final episode saw Neal apparently faking his own death and once and for all walking away from his partnership with Peter which had often seen them collaborating like a father and son would.
The finale started off with Neal pulling another con and getting Peter on board the heist that the Panthers were planning. After he managed to get Peter involved, he convinced Mozzie (Willie Garson) that it was fine by telling him that the $30 million from the heist would go to him.
Neal then bid a poignant goodbye to June (Diahann Carroll) and had dinner with Peter and Elizabeth who revealed to him that they were going to have a baby.
During the heist, Neal provided the Panthers with the clearance they needed to get into the airport where they planned to break into the safe. After this he allowed entry to Keller (Ross McCall) and Peter.
As the heist was going on, Peter as planned used his watch to alert the FBI of what's happening and the FBI agents moved in. Just as they finished cracking the safe, the Panthers, Neal, Peter and Keller were arrested.
Keller then questioned Neal's trust in the FBI which forced Neal to run.
Things went from bad to worse when Keller, Neal and Mozzie met up to split the money.
Keller threatened Neal with a knife, but Neal pulled out a gun to defend himself. During the tussle, Keller managed to grab the gun and shot Neal. Peter then tracked Keller and gunned him down.
Mozzie kept thinking it was all conspiracy and that Neal was still alive.
The final part saw Peter finding a key to a container where he finds Neal's plans for faking his own death, which included decoy mannequins, poisons and hiring doctors. Neal was then later shown putting his fedora on his head and walking into the sunset.
