'Watch Dogs 2' release date news: Ubisoft to unveil sequel at E3 2016? Alleged new protagonist leaked

There are rumors that Ubisoft's highly successful shooter video game, "Watch Dogs," will be getting a sequel sometime in the near future. According to the latest reports, the game developer company might actually be in on its way to officially announce the game project as they are planning to unveil "Watch Dogs 2" during the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016 this coming June. Also, there are reports that a new protagonist in the game will be introduced one the sequel is released.
According to a report from Segment Next, Ubisoft is one of the participants of the much-awaited event in the gaming world this year, E3 2016. Ubisoft made the call to attend the said event as a part of their third quarter financial report, which details the current outlook for the company in the present fiscal year and the years to come.
The company is expected to announce their lineup of new games of DLC content packs during the event, and one of the games that the fans are wishing to hear from Ubisoft in the event is "Watch Dogs 2." Other game titles and DLC sets expected to be announced by Ubisoft during the event are "For Honor", "South Park: The Fractured But Whole" and "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands."
On the other hand, it appears that Ubisoft will be including a lot of new stuff in the much awaited "Watch Dogs" sequel. For starters, there is a rumored new protagonist in the game which will make his first formal appearance in the franchise with "Watch Dogs 2."
The rumor began when a motion capture actor posted a picture on Instagram that shows the rumored new "Watch Dogs" main character. While the actor set the settings of his Instagram account private to not allow more people to see the picture, a Twitter user named NerdLeaks was able to save a copy of the picture and shared it online using tweets with the hashtag #WatchDogs2.
