'Watch Dogs 2' release date news 2016: Details on protagonist, new hacker group DedSec revealed in new clip

There's a new hacker in town and his name is Marcus Holloway. Fans can learn more about the "Watch Dogs 2" protagonist in a brand new clip for the game.
Marcus is a young activist, who, according to Ruffin Prentiss, the voice actor for the character, is a self-taught programmer who is a "passionate" fighter with a fun personality.
In "Watch Dogs 2," Marcus will be seen using his hacking skills to defy the system and what it dictates about who he should be. His battle against it led him to team up with a hacking group known as DedSec.
This organization is worldwide, but "Watch Dogs 2" will zero in on the San Francisco headquarters of the group, which Marcus feels really at home in due to its diversity.
As a team member, Marcus brings a lot of joy to the missions in "Watch Dogs 2." He likes to have fun while on the field and Prentiss promises gamers are going to relate to the character.
Some of the members of DedSec include Wrench, the go-to guy when it comes to demolition and big explosions. He loves to get into trouble and is considered the "problem-solver."
Another character to meet in "Watch Dogs 2" is artist Sitara, who does all the visuals for the group. Scriptwriter Lucien Soulban says that she is all about bringing change and engaging people through her art.
Marcus also works with Josh, a man of few words who is considered the brain of the group. He can hack through anything and is often tasked with all things "tech-heavy."
DedSec is all about positive change. "They're not trying to take down society. They are good people who are trying to do something right and trying to discover something and just curious," Prentiss explained.
Digital Trends believes that "Watch Dogs 2" will be much better character-wise considering that Marcus was made more layered and complex that Aiden Pearce, the protagonist of the first game.
"Watch Dogs 2" will be released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and personal computer (PC) on Nov. 15.
