'Watch Dogs 2' news update 2016: Sequel to deal with San Francisco's infamous 'Zodiac Killer'

The much awaited "Watch Dogs" sequel will be quite different from the first game with its additional computer hacking theme and a whole new setting, the diverse city of San Francisco. The main objective of the "Watch Dogs 2" main protagonist, Marcus Holloway, is to take down and expose the ctOS 2.0 surveillance system that secretly plans to corrupt the entire city with malicious information. The sinister organization behind the ctOS 2.0, Blume, will be the primary target of the players. However, they will also get to face another vicious entity of San Francisco in the form of the Zodiac Killer.
As reported by Game Spot, "Watch Dogs 2" will be featured a special bonus mission that will pit Marcus Holloway against the infamous serial killer of the San Francisco Bay Area. Ubisoft also released a new trailer for the Zodiac Killer recently, showing the fans what to expect when the game content arrives next month. The Zodiac Killer DLC mission is presently available as a pre-order bonus.
The Zodiac Killer is widely known in San Francisco, particularly in the sixties, as a murderous character that leaves clues pointing to his bloody crimes. The most chilling part of the Zodiac Killer mystery is that the person behind the series of killings was never caught. As noted by Polygon, five out of the mysterious 37 deaths linked to the Zodiac Killer were verified by the authorities.
Just like the real-life Zodiac Killer, the players are expected to find clues or riddles given by the killer himself. Solving the riddles will help the players to continue with their mission and know the real picture behind the Zodiac Killer's trail of blood. It will also be interesting to know if the past Zodiac Killer and the present killer that is taunting the police and the general public with his chilling puzzles are actually connected.
The trailer also reveals other bonus items that the players will get after pre-ordering, like an orange-buttoned shirt and pants plus a black t-shirt with "I Saw the Zodiac Killer" print.
"Watch Dogs 2" will be released on November 15 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles. It was earlier revealed that the PC platform version of the game will be released on November 29.
