Walmart iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus Offers: $50 Discounts On Phones

Starting this week, Walmart is ramping up its discounts on the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus in time for Christmas. This is definitely good news to those who missed the deals on Black Friday, Cyber Monday and Green Monday.
Bloomberg first reported on the price cuts on the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus at Walmart, stating that the price of the iPhone 6 with 16 GB onboard storage has fallen to $129, a reduction of $50 from the standard price of $179. However, to avail themselves of this deal, customers will have to sign up for a two-year contract with Sprint Corporation, AT&T Inc, or Verizon Wireless.
As for the 16 GB iPhone 6 Plus which has a bigger screen, Wal-Mart is selling it at a discounted price of $229. Walmart is also offering discounts on the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus with higher storage capacity of 64GB and have priced them at $229 and $329, respectively.
Regarding other phone discounts, Wal-Mart has announced that the iPhone 5S will be priced at $49 from its original price of $79, coupled with a contract. Android smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy S5 are also being offered at $79 down from their earlier price of $139.
Walmart is offering $50 discounts on the above-mentioned iPhone models until February 2015 in its effort to attract those who have not finished their holiday shopping yet. The huge retail chain said recent numbers released by the National Retail Federation showed that around 90 percent of Americans have not yet finished shopping for the holidays. This, according to Walmart, shows that people are not looking for deals only on Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
The deals on iPhone and Samsung smartphone models will only be available in stores. In addition to these deals, Walmart is also reducing prices on PS4 gaming consoles and Vizio LED HDTVs.
