Walmart Cyber Monday Evening Edition Deals Offer Savings of 90 Percent

This year Walmart has announced a first of its kind Cyber Monday Evening Edition deals as well as a special Cyber Monday deal that will bring consumers savings of up to 90 percent.

Many news outlets have described the Walmart offering as "clever."

"These Evening Edition sales have been created for working Americans and Millennial shoppers," Walmart said in the announcement.

The special edition sale that takes place in the evening on Cyber Monday will include a sweet deal on a 4K 55-inch Samsung Ultra LED HDTV priced at $998, providing savings of $500. This will only be available online and will be targeted towards those who plan to shop after finishing their work on Monday.

Then there is a PlayStation 4 priced at $449 that comes bundled along with a Lego Batman, Little Big Planet console and an option to include an additional game and game controller. This will provide savings of $189 and is only available online.

The online store is also offering an exclusive deal on the Straight Talk Moto E and has priced it at $9.99 without any contract. Walmart has advertised that the savings on this particular deal is around 90 percent.

Additionally in ads for its Cyber Monday sales, Walmart has noted that it plans to offer around 500 deals online and these will last for a week. Among these are a seven-inch Double Power Tablet which is priced at $37.99 and a Sanyo 58" LED HDTV which is priced at $499.

Among Walmart's deals on mobiles for Cyber Monday is a Straight talk Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE priced at $249 which provides savings of nearly $200. America Herald is reporting that Walmart will sell the Samsung Galaxy S4 at $138 coupled with a two-year contract. Customers also get a $100 gift card with their purchase. This effectively reduces the price of the Galaxy S4 to about $38. This deal is only available for those who are already AT&T customers. Reviewers say this is the best way to get the latest smartphone from Samsung.
