A recent photo taken by a wedding photographer of a marine praying with his bride-to-be before their wedding ceremony has quickly gone viral on the internet.

The photo, taken this past Saturday before their wedding ceremony in Asheville, North Carolina, shows U.S. Marine Cpl. Caleb Earwood praying with his bride-to-be Maggie.

The couple is standing back to back so they cannot see each other, as to keep with the tradition of not seeing the bride before the wedding ceremony. The photo, taken by the couple's wedding photographer, shows the two holding hands as they silently pray.

Maggie Earwood, who is seen crying in the photo as she prays, told ABC News that the couple's decision to pray made her feel emotional.

"It broke me down," she told the media outlet, "to know that we felt the same way about God. It just made me happy."

"There were no dry eyes in the room," she added.

21-year-old Caleb told "Today" that he prayed for his future with his wife ahead of their wedding ceremony.

"We were about to take our first steps in life together, and we didn't want to take a step without it being in God's will," the 21-year-old said of the prayer he shared with his 22-year-old bride. "I prayed to God for my beautiful and intelligent wife that he blessed me with and the amazing family I was marrying into."

According to "Today," the couple spent their honeymoon at the "Dollywood" Dolly Parton theme park in Tennessee.
