Historical period drama series "Vikings" concluded the first half of season 4 recently, and fans can only wish that season 4B already has a definitive premiere date. Luckily for them, it seems like the show will be heading to TV screens very soon as actor Travis Fimmel who portrays the character of Ragnar Lothbrok confirmed that they are done shooting the upcoming episodes.

"We've done 50 episodes now," Fimmel told Boston Herald. "Ragnar's definitely changed as he's gotten older. He begins as a farmer and works his way to being a king. And then it's not what he expected it to be, you know? There's a lot of sacrifices you have to make to be the boss."

Series creator Michael Hirst previously mentioned that the story will center on the sons of Ragnar as well as his conflict with Rollo (Clive Standen). After the time jump in the season 4 finale, viewers will see Ivar (Alex Hogh Andersen), Ubbe (Jordan Patrick Smith), Hvitserk (Marco Ilso) and Sigurd (David Lindstrom) will be seen as full-grown men, ready to take their power back from their father. In line with Ragnar's return, Hirst said that not everyone is happy to see him back. "Some of them are bitter about it. Some accommodate it. But when Ragnar comes back, they're confronted by a lot of issues," he explained."They're all different, but obviously, the most striking of them is Ivar. We know the only thing the historical Ragnar was really afraid of is that his sons would become more famous than he was. ... Ivar the Boneless is probably the most famous of all vikings. He's a cripple, and yet he becomes this dominant, extraordinary alpha-male."

Who among Ragnar's sons will kill him? Will he give one of them his throne? Find out all the answers once "Vikings" season 4 returns this coming Fall 2016.
