Only two episodes are left before "Vikings" season 4 gets to its midseason finale, and the latest episode 9 synopsis was released. It serves as a foreshadowing for the viewers, with the show nearing a blood-soaked ending. Meanwhile, the upcoming episode is entitled "Death All Round," and true to its title, another fan-favorite will bite the dust.

As noted by International Business Times, the synopsis might hint about a certain character's death. In the latest promo clip from History, Ragnar Lothbrok admits that there is a slight change in his mission. Conquering the city of Paris is the least of his plans because he now wants to kill his scheming traitor brother. Previously, Rollo (Clive Standen) met with Emperor Charles (Lothaire Bluteau) to discuss how they would defeat Ragnar. Rollo insisted that the only way to bring Ragnar down is to kill him. Viewers speculate that this will mark Ragnar's downfall as he is taken over by addiction which will greatly affect his leadership.

On the side of Wessex, a reunion is said to take place involving  King Ecbert (Linus Roache) and King Aelle (Ivan Kaye). Unlike most reunions, the displeased Northumbria ruler is not really looking forward to meeting the villainous monarch.

Hollywood Hills dished some spoilers for the upcoming episode, saying that the Vikings will move to another place with the help of Floki's structures. He added interesting new features to the ship which might be of great help as they continue on their voyage. The spotlight is on him once more, where he proves that he is a vital part of Ragnar's triumph. On the contrary, there are speculations that he will eventually cause chaos in the group, leaving them in the balance as a plot for revenge.

The ninth episode of "Vikings" season 4 will air on History Channel this Thursday, April 14 at 10 p.m. EDT.
