The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is one of the premier runway events for lingerie, and this year's edition delivered on all fronts with jaw-dropping designs and outstanding performances from Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande. Also featured were performances by Ed Sheeran and Hozier.

While the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is more about fashion than anything else, it has featured talented artists over the years, and this year was no exception. Swift, who performed last year in a sparkling Union Jack-themed outfit, kept it simple this year and decided to wear lingerie on stage.

This delighted many of those who watched the show, with one calling Swift an "honorary angel" as she looked very much like the other supermodels on stage. Some even suggested that Victoria's Secret should hire her next year as a model.

On stage the songstress went on to perform two of her songs "Style" and the hit single "Blank Space." She also spent considerable time playfully interacting with the models like Karlie Kloss while she was on stage. Kloss and Swift's interaction was labeled as comfortable and quirky. Actually, the two are neighbors in New York and the best of friends.

When Ariana Grande took to the stage, she followed the same theme taken by Swift and also donned a lingerie-inspired outfit.

The action was not confined onstage as Grande, Swift and Sheeran also posed backstage with several of the supermodels. The Twitter account for Victoria's Secret even posted photos from a slumber party that Grande threw for the models.

Finally the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show also had its share of drama when last year's angel Jessica Hart was rumored to have been booted from this year's show. After last year's show, Hart commented that Swift "didn't fit in with the show."

Even though Hart continues to model for the company that owns Victoria's Secret, she was absent from the catwalk and many attributed this to Swift insisting that she be left out.
