'Uncharted 4: Survival' DLC release date news: Live stream to debut new features and answer fan questions

Christmas comes early for fans of the action-adventure video game "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" as the latest downloadable content (DLC) launches this week.
The free downloadable update brings in new maps, mode, weapons, and more competitive content for the game's multiplayer feature, which will all be debuted in a live stream happening on Tuesday, Dec. 13, at 2 p.m. EST on Naughty Dog's official Twitch page. A live-on-stream Q&A also gives fans of the game a chance to have their questions answered by the game developers themselves.
The "Uncharted 4: Survival" DLC is the newest cooperative and solo mode that is not much different from the Co-Op Arena that avid players of the game have encountered in "Uncharted 2" and "Uncharted 3." The developers have built upon "Uncharted's" core gameplay and added in some significant improvements via an entirely new level of depth, variety, and more challenging gaming experience.
The "Survival" DLC will also be introducing powerful new bosses and enemy types along with an expansive array of upgradeable arsenal to match up the game's progressive difficulty.
"Survival' is all about strategy, camaraderie, and skill," Vinit Agarwal, one of the game developers, wrote on a blog post on Naughty Dog's official site. The wave-based additional content expands the game across 50 waves and 10 maps brimming with challenges from Shoreline mercenaries, heavily armored Brutes, Snipers, Hunters, and the all-new Pirate Warlords. Players will also have to complete some objective modes like collecting treasures or taking out marked enemies in order to reach wave 50. Each player can take up to two additional friends to join them in the cooperative gaming experience.
Meanwhile, after Naughty Dog announced an upcoming standalone DLC called "Uncharted: The Lost Legacy" at the recently held PlayStation Experience 2016, fans have been looking forward to more details about the title. Some of their questions just might get answered during the live-on-stream Q&A.
The game will be set in India following the events of "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" wherein Chloe teamed up with the villainous Nadine in order to retrieve the lost tusk of Ganesh. The game will reportedly be released sometime in 2017.
