Trump Won't Apologize For Comments on Ben Carson's Seventh-Day Adventist Faith

2016 presidential hopeful Donald Trump has stood behind controversial comments he recently made regarding fellow candidate Ben Carson's Seventh-Day Adventist religion.
Trump has refused to apologize for recent comments he made regarding Carson's religion while at a rally in Jacksonville, Florida.
At the rally, Trump described himself as a "presbyterian," saying "Boy, that's down the middle of the road folks, in all fairness. I mean, Seventh-day Adventist, I don't know about. I just don't know about."
Trump followed up on is comments with ABC's "This Week," saying "I didn't say anything bad about [Seventh-Day Adventists]."
"I would certainly give an apology if I said something bad about it, but I didn't – all I said was 'I don't know about it,'" the real estate mogul added.
Carson has continually refused to engage Trump on his personal insults, even after recent comments in which Trump suggested that Carson, a retired neurosurgeon, would be a poor leader regarding hot button topics such as immigration.
Although Carson has refused to respond to Trump's accusations, Trump recently told CNN that he believes it's only matter of time before Carson strikes back.
"He'll hit back, everybody hits back," Trump told the media outlet ahead of a New Hampshire rally. "In life, everybody hits back."
Trump, known for his outspoken personality, also received criticism recently for saying that he was able to build his real estate empire after receiving a "small loan" of $1 million from his father.
"It has not been easy for me. It has not been easy for me. I started off in Brooklyn. My father gave me a small loan of a million dollars," Trump recently told NBC's "Today". "I came into Manhattan, and I had to pay him back, and I had to pay him back with interest. But I came into Manhattan and I started buying properties, and I did great."
