'Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege' release date update news: Major concerns to be addressed in mid-September update

Ubisoft's video game "Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege" will be getting another update this month. According to the creators, update 4.2 of the game will address recent concerns regarding performance and connection issues, among others.
One of the top concerns that will be fixed by the 4.2 update has to do with Ubisoft increasing its countermeasures against cheating. In the forums, the game developer revealed that it has monitored players who have been using third-party tools to improve their performance in the game.
The company will be allowing players to report gamers who have resorted to cheating. According to the company, potential cheaters will be immediately removed from the game and temporarily suspended. Further details about this concern will be revealed in the weeks to come.
Digital Trends reported that BattleEye, the anti-cheat feature of the game which was launched in July, proved to be very effective upon its first month of operation. Last month, the news outlet reported that the video game developer has permanently banned more than 3,800 cheaters.
Ubisoft also admitted that multiple players had trouble running the game using BattleEye. GamenGuide said the problem lied with the video graphics cards. So far, the company has provided tips for troubleshooting. However, the update will contain more permanent solutions for this particular concern.
Ubisoft will also be looking into multiplayer errors that have been reported on PlayStation 4 consoles. The company stated that the problem has to do with the PS4 units that are set to "Appear Offline."
Furthermore, the video game developer will be fixing the game's performance on laptops. Many gamers have expressed the same sentiments about the game's poor performance when played on this platform. Ubisoft said that it has previously been made aware of this significant problem.
"Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege" update is expected to launch in the middle of September.
