'Titanfall 2' release date news 2016: Second tech test to start on Aug 26

The second multiplayer beta test for Respawn Entertainment's "Titanfall 2" will be launched tomorrow, Aug. 26, starting 12 p.m. ET. The tech test will run until Sunday, Aug. 28, but a specific end-time has yet to be announced.
The first beta test received mixed comments from the video game developer but they took into account the various gamers' needs. According to their recent post, Respawn Entertainment already addressed a few of the issues for the second tech test.
The video game developer made some changes to the game's character movement, improved Titan survivability, and created varied map designs.
In a recent post, Respawn Entertainment revealed that it will be fixing two issues on pilot mobility. One has to do with the lack of player predictability. The video game developer stated that it "often cause players to be shot from the back or sides." Two, erratic player movement caused chaotic close range fights. Hence, developments on pilot mobility were done to address the issues stated above, rather than to slow down the players' movement.
Respawn Entertainment also shared that it has switched from Titan energy shields to a new Titan battery system. The developer declared that the change will lead to an improvement in terms of rodeo gameplay and rewards teamwork.
Moreover, "Titanfall 1" which was released in 2014, did not have a single-player feature. But in "Titanfall 2," the game creators added a single-player feature, as requested by the fans.
Gamers can catch the details of the second tech test that were released this week in the "Titanfall" forums.
The tech tests are imperative because it gives gamers an opportunity to voice out their concerns, and an opportunity for Respawn Entertainment to address those issues to create a better version of the video game.
Respawn Entertainment will launch "Titan 2" on PlayStaton 4, Xbox One, and Windows PCs on Friday, Oct. 28.
