Former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow reportedly joined the Philadelphia Eagles for a workout this week, although the team is reportedly not planning on signing Tebow for the 2015 season.

Although Tebow currently works as an SEC correspondent for ESPN, the professional athlete has continued to indicate his desire in pursuing a career in the NFL as a quarterback. Tebow previously played for the Denver Broncos and the New York Jets before becoming a free agent at the start of 2013, which is when he picked up a correspondent career for ESPN.

The Philadelphia Eagles have not officially confirmed Tebow's workout with the team on Monday, but a source close to the team told USA Today Sports that Tebow had in fact visited the team's training facility to participate in drills.

Several football experts have been questioning the recent decisions of Eagles head coach Chip Kelly, who reportedly traded quarterback Nick Foles to the St. Louis Rams, and took on Sam Bradford.

"If anybody's going to have an open mind, it'll be someone like Chip Kelly," Tebow's quarterback coach, Tom House, told USA Today Sports, adding: "Stranger things have happened."

"Tim has been busting his butt on a regular basis for the last couple of years to stay ready for just this type of opportunity. He came directly from being released by the Patriots and has been working on a regular basis since then," House continued.

"Initially, Tim had trouble spinning the ball and he wasn't very accurate. That's fixed," the coach continued, adding: "He's very accurate now."
