Tim Tebow Dating Jana Duggar? Rumors Shot Down Despite Hope Among Fans

Former NFL star Tim Tebow and reality TV celebrity Jana Duggar seem to make a good combination, many fans believe. These fans expressed hope that they would witness another wedding on "19 Kids And Counting" after it was rumored last week that the pair had been dating.

However, Tebow's rep has officially stated that the two have never laid eyes on each other and that the dating rumors were false.

The rumor started when Tim's mother Pat spoke at a fundraiser for Loving Choices Pregnancy Centers in Arkansas, after which she met with Jim Bob and Michelle who also attended. Following which the Duggars took to Facebook to commend Pat, saying she was "a great lady and we enjoyed seeing Pat Tebow share tonight."

This led some fans to assume that the meeting was not a chance encounter but was pre-planned. It was then assumed that the two families had been meeting in secret at the Duggar's home to set up a match between Tim and Jana.

When the dating rumors first started, fans of the show were excited by the possibility that the eldest daughter of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar could finally get married. Jana has until now not dated while two of her younger sisters Jill and Jessa got married this year. Jill is currently expecting her first child.

There have also been rumors that while her younger siblings have gotten married, her parents do not want Jana to date or get married because she is their "live-in" nanny.

However, since the rumors of Jana dating Tim surfaced, it was hinted that her father Jim Bob was the one who initiated the match.

Tim famously dated actress Camilla Belle for a while in 2012 and since then has not been linked to any other woman.

With the dating rumor debunked from within Tim Tebow's camp, fans of the show "19 Kids and Counting" who enthusiastically spread the rumor will no doubt look to link Jana with other available bachelors.
