null

The Young and the Restless is in its 41st season, and as with all daytime soap operas viewers can expect the current season to have its fair share of scandal and deaths.

The pain point for many this season has been the recasting of the role of Adam Newman. With Justin Hartley replacing fan favorite Michael Muhney who was unceremoniously fired in 2013. If you're one of the viewers who hasn't jumped ship along with Michael Muhney here's what you can expect in the season.

Rumors doing the rounds, have long suggested that the producers/writers of The Young and the Restless were going to use Cancer to kill one of the characters. Hollywood News Daily and Celebrity Dirty Laundry, have subsequently confirmed that Michael Baldwin played by Christian LeBlanc is the character on the chopping block. Many viewers already had an inkling that a medical emergency was in the wings for Michael Baldwin, when his labs tests were rushed through by the doctor, so no surprise here.

Other interesting developments being forecast by Celebrity Dirty Laundry include Dylan McAvoy's arrest in connection with Ian Ward's disappearance. Also the probability of Nick and Sharon making it down the aisle looks bleak as Phyllis Newman mysteriously reappears.

But as far as spoilers go, the one that has everyone ago is the arrival of Joe Clark, played by Scott Elrod. He is Avery's former husband who is predicted to arrive in town and basically win everyone's hearts and minds.

This was confirmed by Elrod to Celebrity Dirty Laundry as he stated that "All the other guys want to hang out with Joe and all the girls admire him".

The coming episodes of The Young and the Restless are going to reveal the intentions of several characters including Joe Clark, and we might even have a wedding thrown into the mix.
