'The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt' DLC release date news update: 'Blood and Wine' will be rolled out in June?

Many players have been waiting for the much-anticipated release of the next "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" DLC update. New details about the "Blood and Wine" expansion is said to be provided by CD Projekt RED next month before its official launching on June 7.

New screenshots of "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's" DLC have also recently hit the Internet courtesy of its game developer, CD Projekt RED. The set of images show the journey of Geralt in the region of Touissant. The images also revealed Anna Henriatta, Touissant's ruler, who is also Fringello Vigo's cousin. The screenshots also show a new monster called Scolopendromorphs, a giant centipede that is ready to be taken down by Geralt.

The main protagonist will be fighting off numerous monsters on the new "Blood and Wine" DLC such as Bruxas, Manticores and Stringas. There are also speculations that CD Projekt RED has added a huge boss in the next expansion that resembles that of the Kraken.

There will also be other characters included in the "Blood and Wine" DLC like Vilgefortz, Regis and Dandelion. It will definitely be a treat once the DLC gets rolled out and fans are hoping that it lives up to its expectation.

In a report by VG 24/7, CD Projekt RED is expected to reveal more details about the "Blood and Wine" DLC anytime soon. According to the report, the company will continue to hype up the game expansion until they announce the official release date.

Although the company has yet to provide specific details with regard to the release of the DLC update, rumors have already hit the Internet suggesting that it will come out on June 7.

As of the moment, fans are still enjoying the current version of "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt;" however, it is only a matter of time before they will get used to it and demand for more.
